Wooden Urns

The Summerland wooden urns are beautifully handcrafted by well-known Ashburton artisan, Crafty Buggers Mark Rant. The urns are made from reclaimed rimu from a homestead in Methven.

From the Forest

Mark is a true craftsman with a passion for woodcraft. He began over 25 years ago when his wife Jane bought him his first lathe.

He has grown his skills to produce a broad range of wood products, with a particular skill for turning wood. He loves to work with reclaimed wood, with his favourite being yew, which shows amazing grain when being turned. You’ll find him at local markets selling his products at the Crafty Buggers stand.
